This list includes JavaScript/AJAX Authoring Tools, Documentation Tools, JavaScript Debugging Tools, JavaScript Testing and Validation Tools and Security Tools amongst other, well, useful tools.

The JavaScript/AJAX authoring tools section lists some interesting ones such as Jx, "a JavaScript library for creating graphical user interfaces written on top of the MooTools framework" or WaveMaker, an "open-source software for complete Web application development and deployment".

We already talked about how important it is to document your code. Well, Smashing Magazine seems to agree with us and lists JSDoc Toolkit as well as jGrouseDoc.
